Hi, I’m Sally and I’m an externally accredited meditation teacher.

I have trained in teaching various meditation techniques. Meditation is a life skill for anyone of any age. Having experienced first-hand how it can cultivate a calm and peaceful state of mind, no matter what your external world looks like. I have practiced meditation myself for over 20 years, which has made me want to share the life changing techniques with others and to show what a difference it can make to our wellbeing and happiness. By taking 10 minutes a day to meditate and focus inwards, I was able to find inner calm, knowing I couldn’t always control what was happening to me, but that I could control how my nervous system reacted.

I teach in a simple way and believe anyone can learn to meditate. I feel passionately about equipping the younger generations with these simple skills for dealing with emotional overwhelm, and the daily challenges they face. Meditation practice can then become a tool they use for life. I am also a certified meditation teacher for children and teenagers. WHAT IS MEDITATION?

Meditation is an ancient practice which combines mental and/or physical techniques to clear the mind. It takes us beyond the chatter and noise to a silent , peaceful space that exists in all of us. It deactivates the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight stress response) and activates the parasympathetic nervous system (nerves that control the body’s relaxation response).

Studies have found that over time, meditation can help reduce stress, anxiety, emotional reactivity and over thinking. It can also increase cognition, memory, and learning, as well as providing a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Whilst many use meditation for stress reduction and relaxation, some use it to deepen their connection to their higher self, resulting in self-discovery and inner transformation.
